Moving Out

I’m Taylor Gilbert a 26 year old college student. I have been living independently since I was 17. I learned that space is money. I wanted a space of my own after high school so I moved about 40 miles away from my parents. I’ve lived with friends, strangers, and a few boyfriends. I did what I had to, even been homeless a few times. I’ve moved about 25 times in 9 years. I was tired of struggling, I decided to pick myself up and get my own small apartment. I want more for my future so I’m making it happen. I work hard so I can live alone, and I’m working hard in school so I can land a great job one day. I’ve struggled with moving around so much, I’m happy to say I have a home now. Reflecting upon my past I decided that I would like to share what I’ve learned. Everyone deserves a comfortable home, so please feel free to post any comments, questions, tips, or suggestions to share with others.
